Mark Zuckerberg has called in the cage fighting experts.
Days after joining Elon Musk and Georges St-Pierre for a training session, Zuckerberg has received help from a pair of UFC champions.
In a series of photos posted Tuesday by UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, Zuckerberg appears to join a training session with him and UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovsky, just three days away from a title defense at UFC 290. Is.
The series of photos shows three men dressed in training shorts and standing on a mat; Zuckerberg with tape on his wrists.
“No Fugazi with Mark,” Adesanya wrote. “This is a serious matter.”
On Instagram, Zuckerberg commented, “It was an honor to train with you guys!”
Additional Instagram stories by Adesanya show Zuckerberg wakeboarding while a boat pulls him into the water.
It is not clear where exactly the meeting took place. Zuckerberg and Volkanovsky have previously worked together for the Metaverse virtual reality project.
Over the past year, Zuckerberg has continued to rapidly establish himself among those in the MMA community.
In addition to following MMA accounts almost exclusively on social media, Zuckerberg attended a UFC Apex event in October with his wife, Priscilla Chan. The Facebook founder has also competed in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitions.
In recent weeks, an online feud between Zuckerberg and Tesla founder Musk resulted in both billionaires indicating they would like to face each other in an MMA bout.
UFC President Dana White has repeatedly stated that he has spoken to both men and that they are serious about the fight. The UFC has also printed “Musk vs. Zuckerberg” apparel, which is being sold on their online store.
It is unclear exactly where or how the fight will take place, but White continues to hint that it is quite possible.
White said, “Whoever says no, every other state and country will say yes.” “It’s a billion dollar revenue, this fight.”
